Step-by-Step Recipe of Capsicum Raita (Capsicum recipe | Yogurt-based dish)
Ingredients:
1 cup curd or yogurt
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds or rai
2 dry chilies
1 tsp Cumin powder or jeera
1 small capsicum finely chopped
1 small onion finely chopped
salt as per taste
1 tsp oil for tempering
Method:
1. Firstly, take yogurt in a bowl and whisk it well till there are no lumps.
2. Secondly, heat 1 tsp oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds and dry chilies.
3. Once the mustard seeds start to crackle, add finely chopped onions and capsicum in it.
4. Now cook till onions and capsicums are tender, add salt and cumin or jeera powder and mix well.
5. Switch off the flame and remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for 3-4 minutes.
6. Finally, add the capsicum in the yogurt and chill it.
