This is that time of the year when I have decided to keep 9 days fast. So you know 9 days I am going to feast on fast. Yeah, it is actually a feast!! You will see that in the coming days. But I have promised myself not to indulge a lot on fried and sugary foods and keep my meals really simple and healthy. In a way, I am going to control my hunger pangs and resist binging fried food and snacks that I am used to otherwise.
Now a short brief about Navratri:
It is a 9 day Hindu festival celebrated in the autumn every year. It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of India. Navratri signifies the supreme female cosmic power of Goddess manifested in the forms of Durga, Laxmi, and Saraswati. It starts from today i.e 21st of September and it will go on until 9 days. It is an ideal time to fast, pray, play Garba, and ideally to detox. An apt time to break the routine, relax your mind and body, and get ready for next season cycle. So here’s again wishing everyone a very Happy Navratri. Eat clean, stay fit, well-hydrated, and rejuvenate your soul and body.
