Coco Choco Truffles

These Coco Choco Truffles are so yummy that it will just melt in your mouth. It is a nice combination of coconut and chocolate that will leave you asking for more. You can avoid dusting the truffles with cocoa powder and directly coat them with desiccated coconut.
I preferred it as I did not want way too much extra coating of coconut.
Eat as many as you want fresh. You can then refrigerate it for further pops.
My way of eating the truffles after removing from the refrigerator is to microwave for 20 seconds.
Enjoy it and I m sure kids gonna love these homemade easy truffles.

1 cup fine desiccated coconut
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
340 gms condensed milk Nestle or Amul
FOR DUSTING AND TOPPING
3/4 cup of fine desiccated coconut
1/4 cup cocoa powder

Method:

1. Crush the Marie biscuits in a food processor until it is fine (like flour).

2. Combine the crushed biscuits, 1/2 cup of fine desiccated coconut and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder in a large bowl. Mix all the ingredients well.

3. Then slowly stir in the sweetened condensed milk into the mixture. (Don’t pour the whole content of the can, pour it in slowly enough to bind the dough).

4. You know you have the mixture right if the mixture is a dough ball. (If the balls are not holding shape then you may use too much sweetened condensed milk.

5. You should be able to roll them into a ball without being too hard or too soft.

6. Shape the mixture into small balls.

7. Take a small plate and dust the balls with cocoa powder.

8. Now place the fine desiccated coconut into a flat plate.

9. Roll the balls into the fine desiccated coconut to coat as per your taste.

10. They are now ready to pop into your mouth.
