What are Cheese Corn Balls

Corn Cheese Balls are deep-fried snacks that are made with sweet corn, cheese, Potatoes, bread crumbs, and spices and herbs. They are very crunchy from outside and soft and cheesy when you just dig into it. I have tried making them  3-4 times earlier with little variations in the recipe, but this recipe turned out to be the best and was loved by my kids at home.

Corn Cheese Balls and Kids

I have always seen that Corn Cheese Balls are loved by almost all the kids. They relish it at home, parties, and restaurants. My kids also love this recipe and they can have it any time of the day. But my kids’ are a little fussy and they want certain things to be made in a particular manner, especially when at home. So after struggling them to eat Corn Cheese Balls earlier where they could taste Corn kernels and always complained about how irritating when it got stuck in-between their tooth.

So one day I thought of trying to make Corn Cheese Balls by blending corn in the food processor. Trust me when I tried the recipe with sweet corn paste, it worked like a magic. My kids were happy to eat it as they just melted in the mouth.

This recipe is a guide for all the moms who have fussy and picky eaters.

The mild, subtle, and simple flavor of this recipe will make a fantastic snack option for kids and will cheer up their mood.

It is also an ideal recipe for large crowds when you are planning to throw a party, as Corn Cheese Balls (Indian Cheese Balls) are loved by each and everyone, at least everyone whom I know.

  1. In this recipe, I have boiled sweet corns and have ground it to a coarse paste and mixed with mashed potatoes and grated cheese.
  2. It has very mild flavors as kids prefer a nonspicy version of Corn Cheese Balls.
  3. It is a simple and no-fuss recipe.
  4. The creaminess of cheese along with corn and potatoes makes a perfect match made in heaven.
  5. It is then dipped in breadcrumbs and deep-fried on a medium to a high flame to get the perfect crunchiness.

Both my daughters love to eat Corn Cheese Balls at home and had demanded me to make it yesterday for snacks. At the same time, they had told me that they need to be mild, melt in the mouth and delicious. I was happy to try this recipe and feed them their favorite version that they absolutely love it.

Alterations that you can make in the Corn Cheese Balls recipe

Well, you can alter the recipe a little bit as per your taste buds. If you want to make it spicier you can add finely chopped green chilies or chili flakes.

I have not added as my daughters can’t eat spicy food. You can also avoid making a coarse paste of corn and keep the corn kernel as it is. This will work just well.

You can also add garam masala, red chili powder to your recipe, and make it more aromatic. Little changes can be made in this recipe to suit the taste buds that your family may like.
